Meanwhile Lindsay is keen to promote her protegee, Ruth Bannion - a young dancer with huge potential. Lindsay wants Ruth to attend ballet school in New York. But Ruth's uncle and guardian, Seth Bannion, isn't sure she's ready. He refuses permission.
