🔖 What has gone before... In issue 4, the Tenth met his maker, Rhazes Darkk, as Zorina finally finds her mother, who was kidnapped by Blackspell (issue h of the miniseries). Esperanza, on the other hand, is rescued from a giant tree monster by her pet cat Arusa! Meanwhile in Chicago, officials from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) drop by the County Morgue to "quarantine" a body. That body was that of Lastic, one of the first prototypes from the U.S.Government's secret new Anti-Terrorist Division (ATD). However, after "removal" and evacuation of the body, the County Morgue was visited a second time by another group of men, claiming also to be from the CDC. We left off with Espy, Tenth, and Zorina being teleported to a small village somewhere in Japan, where they have their first encounter with the child supermonster known as Gozza.
