📙 This is an incredible true story of one man's willingness to suffer and sacrifice his life in order to get God's word out to God's people, going up against the prevailing religion that was doing it's utmost to prevent it. In 1535, William Tyndale was arrested and jailed in the castle of Vilvoorde (Filford) outside Brussels for over a year. In 1536 he was convicted of heresy and executed by strangulation, after which his body was burnt at the stake, but not before he had got the fire going that ignited two continents. Everyone who loves the word of God owes William Tyndale a humongus debt of gratitude for what he accomplished.
