📘 Coming from Melbourne to Queensland to see his favourite Aunt, the boy was only 12 years old when he first encountered the Banyan forest, just a few kilometres from her home. He met Rume and Rumo who took him into the land of Banyania, deep in the forest, to become the first human ever to learn the culture and history of the Waroons. He discovered how the Waroo tribe of Banyania had been able to survive over hundreds of thousands of years because of their ability to control the Banyan forest. The boy's experiences within the Banyan forest were to influence his life for all time, but as the boy grew into a man, he could scarcely believe this remarkable story had any truth; except that he still had in his possession the Banyan totem.
