📘 The practice of medicinal chemistry is devoted to the discovery and development of new chemical agents for treating disease. Most of the activity in this discipline is directed to the search of new natural or synthetic organic compounds. The present work emphasizes the synthesis of novel derivatives of benzotriazolothiadiazolyl thiazolidinones having three nuclei in combination with each other (viz. Benzotriazole, Thiadiazole and Thiazolidinone) along with their antimicrobial activity. The structure of synthesized compounds has been established on the basis of their physico-chemical properties and spectral data (I.R. and N.M.R. spectroscopy).
