📘 Synthesis of new heterocyclic compounds by using linear compounds as electron donors and some π-deficient compounds. The four compounds used as electron donors are: 1-acetylthiosemicarbazide; 1-benzoyl-thiosemicarbazide; 1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)thiosemicarbazide; 1-(4-bromo-phenylaceto)thiosemicarbazide. The π-deficient compounds, used are: ethenetetracarbonitrile TCNE; (1,3-dioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-2-ylidene)propanedinitrile CNIND; 3-(dicyano-methylene)-2-indolone; 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane TCNQ; 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone DDQ; 2,3,5,6-tetrachloro-1,4-benzoqinone CHL; 2,3-dichloro-1,4-naphthoquinone DCHNQ; 2,3-dicyano-1,4-naphthoqinone DCNQ.
