This would not be a very expensive undertaking, costing, perhaps, le. 300. I should advise that, when this monument is cleared, the original enclosure walls be restored in dry stone, and carried slightly higher than it was originally; stone can be easily got from the surrounding desert. This will not only keep out the natives, but also the sand, especially if from time to time cleared away from outside; on this reach of desert, sand will always be the difficulty.
