A city does not get by without either any more. We look at a city marketing concept of the city of Krefeld critically and assess the success in line of this campaign. The name of this campaign is "Krefeld - schön hier", a city marketing campaign in three phases. Result of this campaign is the Krefeld Summer Street and a postcard which ones stores in the City Archive of Krefeld now. Exactly this is part also of the points of criticism at the campaign just like the budget perhaps calculated too only just. It was tried in the text on hand to give to the reader a better understanding of the campaign and to light up the backgrounds.
