📓 In this volume c. a. lindsay captures the spirit of San Diego County which includes a military community and broad geographic diversity. Her poetry touches the human soul in poems that were inspired by life, including the grief she suffered in the loss of her husband and 16 year old daughter. Lindsay's poetry has gained recognition in both literary (Old Hickory Review, The Kit-Cat Review, Mobius) as well as commercial (Leatherneck, Magazine of the Marines, USA Today, The Poet's Pen) publications. An award winning poet, she had been selected as Poet of the Week for Poetry Express and The Poetry Super Highway. She won Editor's Choice Award and "Poet of the Quarter" from Dr. Charles Cravy, President of the Society of American Poets, Georgia. Lindsay's poetry has also been included in month-long juried art shows in San Diego County Performing Arts Centers.
