SeidenstueckerAfter the scholars have been taught to pronounce every letter in the alphabet, they are to be made to read, copy, and commit to memory, a reasonable number of exercises. Then, the teacher will ask the scholars, in English, every word of the lesson, and the scholars are to pronounce by heart, the corresponding word in Spanish. When the les son shall have been thus recited, the teacher will dictate in Spanish, the whole lesson to the scholars, who must be prepared to write it.
