🔖 The book entited “Solution Combustion Synthesis of Nanocrystalline Bismuth Ferrite” deals with the various types of multiferroic materials in chapter-1.In the second chapter literature survey for the preparation of multiferroic materials is discussed. Multiferroic materials (having coupled electric, magnetic and structural order parameters that result in simultaneous ferroelectricity, ferromagnetism, and ferroelasticity) present opportunities for potential application in information storage, the emerging field of spintronics and sensors. So, we have chosen perovskite BiFeO3 as it exhibits multiferroic nature ferroelectric [Curie temperature (Tc) ~1103 K] and antiferromagnetic [Neel temperature (TN) ~643 K], exhibiting weak magnetism at room temperature. Chapter-3 deals with the Pyroelectric Sensors, Chapter-4 deals with the solution combustion process and Chapter-5 deals with Characterization techniques involved for characterizing the nanosized BiFeO3 material. In chapter-6 we discussed the synthesis of nanocrystalline BiFeO3 in an easy solution combustion synthesis. Chapter-7 deals with the results and discussions of the obtained BiFeO3 material.
