🔖 Studying as an international student in a foreign university brings a variety of experience including stress, pain and new challenges which many times make students feel helpless and vulnerable. The recruitment of international students however, does not mean only provision of quality education to these students but also the social well being of them. In this perspective it has become an important question to ask, whether the quality and services satisfy the international students? Most importantly it is essential to explore, how the overseas study experiences influence student's academic and social lives as the findings links the students and the universities. In this book the author portrays different aspects of eight international students’ (including himself) academic and social lives and presents different factors which have direct and indirect influence and impacts. The study was conducted applying an ‘Ethnographic’ research method which did not only identify the challenges but also shows, how these challenges were converted into resources for new learning and capacity building for the overseas students.
