📘 The world is largely ruled by ideas. Ideas are approved or rejected because they are held to be good or bad. Ideas are not a mere intellectual conception, but contain the dynamic power to move individuals and nations. Institutions and entire societies could be changed by certain ideas. Agricultural Innovation System is one of these transformative ideas because it promises to improve the ways in which agricultural knowledge is generated, exchanged and utilized, thereby catalyzing the emergence and diffusion of ideas that transform rural livelihoods. Based largely on its strategic geopolitical location, the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula was selected to the idea reflections. Even more important is the fact that it proposes an improved and more profitable relationship among the institutions, the for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, the producers and other stakeholders engaged in agricultural development.
