📒 Performance measurement is an integral part of running a business. Performance metrics are very important because they shape and drive organizational behavior. This book addresses two key questions: (1) How can existing enterprise performance measurement systems be comprehensively evaluated? (2) What tools can be applied to the design of metrics to enable better strategic alignment, monitoring and reporting of business activities, and proactive decision-making? The author has worked closely with his company management and researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to make this book as useful and practical as possible.
