📙 Grace Richmond was a 20th century American writer most noted for her Red Pepper Bums series of novels. Grace was born in 1866 and was the daughter of a Baptist minister. She began writing short stories published in women's magazines and later wrote 27 novels. Her characters are known for being compassionate and having strong wills. The Twenty-Fourth of June tells the story of a rich man who responds to the atmosphere of a happy and industrious family.
