📙 Organizational Development is an effort well planned, throughout the organization, which is managed from the apex, so as to increase the overall organizational effectiveness and health through planned intervention in the organization’s processes. Organizational development is a set of behavioral science-based theories, values, strategies and techniques aimed at the planned change of the organizational work setting for the purpose of enhancing individual development and improving organizational performance, through the alteration of organizational members’ on-the-job behaviors. Organizational development includes changes in decision-making process, shape and nature of groups, work procedures, job descriptions and roles. The imperative is to change, in order to improve quality and effectiveness. Education is a dynamic process because of the many factors involved in academic performance, student retention, and other outcomes, it is also hard to determine a clear "cause and effect."
