3D-2D Facial Registration Using Weighted Edge 12+

📖 Computer Graphic is based on 3D geometric values but Images are based on 2D intensity values. When you collect 3D data from Computer tomographic (CT) scanner , it's obvious that it looks odd to human eyes. If we look at the CT scanned image of a person, it is clearly understood that absence of proper surface color and hair on the 3D polygonal face made it difficult to identify a person. Lack of hair (and mustache) and facial texture gives completely different impression. This book is all about finding a way how to add the proper surface color from the photographic face to the 3D-face with high localization accuracy and Color Image and 3D Data are taken by different devices at different times that's why the objects are not same.
