📗 Biofuel tree species are being recognized as promising alternative to conventional fuel options. This book includes experimental studies pertaining to the use of some widely cultivated biofuel tree species (Jatropha curcas and Pongamia pinnata) as phytoremediation tools to sequester heavy metals in industrial effluent. Both tree species were tested for their potential to withstand toxicity in fertilizer factory effluent. The book contains detailed results and discussion over the phytoremediation potential of these two biofuel forest hardwoods.
