📘 This book examines the use of Hmong language in a pre-primary education pilot project in four schools in rural Thailand in which the children were mother tongue Hmong speakers. The Hmong orthography used to teach Hmong literacy skills in this pilot project was a newly- revised version of a Thai-based orthography that no one else in the community knew. The reported learning outcomes and teacher training aspects of the pilot project are also examined in the study.
