📙 Book on Production and Marketing of Flowers is focusing on three major areas. First it discussed on the aspects of Area under Flowers, Production of Flowers with special reference to Jasmine and Productivity of Flowers in different states and at micro level following the case approach to highlight the extent of technological interventions in realizing the crop per unit area. Secondly it focuses on the Marketing aspects which deal with the role of institutions in distribution of the produce, channels in which it was effectively distributed and its efficiency aspects and the cost involved in each channel are discussed. Thirdly, it focused on the export aspects highlighting the demanding destinations for Flowers, the details of nations whom are importing the produce and the institutions facilitating the export of Flowers and other related produce from India. All these information in a nutshell are not available in the market other than this book and hence it is one of the important piece of work for teaching the horticulture focusing Flowers, preferably the Jasmine. Farmers' Organization is directly involving in the Production and Trading of Jasmine and its role is also discussed.
