Genetic Analysis of Yield and Its Quality Parameters in Okra 12+

📗 A study was conducted to assess the magnitude of heterosis and combining ability in the line x tester cross material involving 24 hybrids generated by crossing eight lines with three testers and one commercial hybrid check (Hybrid Mahyco-28) in okra during Summer-2014 at Regional Horticultural Research Station, ASPEE College of Horticulture and Forestry, N.A.U., Navsari. In this experiment, significant heterosis and combining ability were found for most of the traits.
