📖 Technological products, growth of urban centres,emergence of industries and the widespread of deadlydiseases such as HIV/AIDS have led to remarkableadjustments in the social behaviour and other ways oflife in African communities. These adjustments havestrained socio-cultural patterns of Africantraditional ceremonies leading to a shift in theform, content, significance and performance of musicin such ceremonies.
