📗 Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield, (1804-1881) was the only Jewish-born British Prime Minister thus far. Coningsby is Disraeli's 1844 political novel set against a background of the real political events of 1830s England following the Reform Bill of 1832.
