📕 John Fletcher (1863 - 1935) published The Middle Temple Murder in 1919. He wrote about 200 books on a wide variety of subjects, both fiction and non-fiction. He was one of the leading writers of detective fiction in the "Golden Age" of mystery writing. The body of a man is found on the steps to Middle Temple Lane near London's courts of law.
