🔖 G A Henty was a 19th century novelist, special correspondent and Imperalist. His best-known works are historical adventures. Henty is credited with writing over 80 books for young boys. This story begins in a field near Oxford, England in 1642. Three your people sit around the fire. There are two fifteen year old boys and a ten year old girl. Civil war has broken out. The two friends, like so many friends in the American Civil War, will fight on opposite sides. How will the boy's friendship be tested and can it and they survive in a war torn country?
