Book by book, the record entries in this series are arranged in strict alphabetical order by town and give name, date of event, names of parents, names of both spouses, and sometimes such items as age, occupation, and specific place of residence.Compiler Marsha Carbaugh's latest contribution to the Barbour Collection encompasses the Connecticut towns of Torrington, Union, and Voluntown and refers to about 22,000 individuals.
