📘 Traditionally the interest in voice gender conversion has been of a more theoretical nature rather than founded in real-life applications. However, with the increase in biometric security applications as well as mobile and automated telephonic communication and the resulting limitation in transmission bandwidth, practical applications of gender recognition have increased many folds. This book deals in implementation of Gender Recognition in NI LabVIEW. For the purpose of implementation, it discusses the development of two models, one for generating Formant values of the voice sample and the other for generating Pitch value of the voice sample. An understanding is developed of gender recognition algorithm's implementation in real time, using NI LabVIEW with the help of descriptive snapshots and related explanations.Book also tries to establish understanding of Speech Processing and its various techniques along with discussing NI LabVIEW. LabVIEW is discussed from the perspective of implementation of signal processing applications.
