Healthcare Expenditures of Urban Poor- A Study of a Slum in Delhi 12+

📙 This book is done in an effort to measure the medical expenditure, both direct and indirect, for various categories of illnesses like short term, long term, hospitalisation and maternity care in one of the Delhi slums and to see its impact on household livelihoods and impoverishment. Different coping strategies that are followed by the households like borrowing, availing loan and selling assets to combat the illness are also studied in brief in this book.
