📖 As the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century offered the dream of exchanging the squalor and ugliness of cities for a more relaxed, aesthetically pleasing lifestyle, architect Robert Alexander 'Bungalow' Briggs was the leading proponent of a new type of housing embodying the movement's ideals.
