📗 There is a shocking increase in the incidence of psychiatric disorders because of violence, political instability and social changes in many of the countries (WHO 2005). In response, a variety of mental illness has been recorded like depression, substance and alcohol misuse, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Mental health problems in a developing country like Pakistan, , in the last few decades have risen an emerging level associated with the present violence in Pakistani community and disturbance in its social configuration. There are no national as well as local epidemiological studies available to uncover general circumstances of the psychiatric disorders in Pakistan.
