Miss Fairfax of Virginia

📘 Rathborne (1854-1938), who also wrote under many other names, was an American author most noted for his boys' stories and dime novels, producing over 330 works of fiction over his 60-year career. This novel subtitled A Romance of Love and Adventure Under the Palmettos was first published in 1899.
