📖 Munsterberg (1863-1916) was a German-American psychologist who was one of the pioneers in applied psychology. At the outbreak of WWI he was torn between his loyalty to the US and to his homeland, often defending Germany's actions. This work first published in 1904 was intended to give German readers an insight into the political, economic, intellectual, and social aspects of American culture.
