History of the Kingdom of Siam

📗 Turpin (1709-99) was a French man of letters. This work originally appeared in two volumes, the first dedicated to the natural history of Siam. This volume, compiled from manuscripts received from the Vicar Apostolic of Siam and other missionaries in the kingdom, was first published in Paris in 1771 and is reprinted from the English translation of 1908.
