📓 The present six pieces, which were combined to form the cycle "Children's Corner", written by Debussy for his daughter Claude-Emma during the years 1906-1908, were originally composed for piano, but are here presented in a version arranged for two guitars. The impressionist sound-world, with its refined dynamics and its subtle shades is presented in a masterly way in these pieces. Since the guitar, an instrument capable of many subtly varied tone colours, is particularly suitable for creating the most refined nuances, it seems only sensible to me to make Debussy's works accessible to players of this instrument by means of suitable arrangements.
