Antonio Vivaldi: Sonata C Minor for Oboe (Flute, Violin) and Basso Continuo

📒 A handwritten copy of this Sonata is in the possession of the Saxon State Library, Dresden, with the title "Sonata per Oboe Solo Del S' Vivaldi". In accordance with the practice of the period, the bass is not figured. It has been realised in the usual way in this edition. The few original phrasing marks have been indicated as such. The phrasing shown here is a suggestion, as seen from the oboist's point of view. It has been left to the player to phrase according to his taste and to use whatever dynamics he finds appropriate. The even semiquavers in bar 18 of the solo part against the dotted semiquavers in the bass are as in the original.
