📙 "Brideshead Revesited" - one of the most famous novels of the English writer Evelyn Waugh. The book was written in 1944. The novel, published at the end of the Second World War, the characters subtly registered a bygone era of prosperity of the English aristocracy. The protagonist of the novel, the young artist Charles Ryder met while studying at Oxford with Sebastian Flyte - known representative of an aristocratic family. After his arrival in Brideshead Revisited, Flyte family estate, Charles falls into a whirlpool of bohemian life, and over the following years, his fate is inextricably linked with the family.
