Based on their extensive inside knowledge of the Russian architectural scene, the two authors have assembled a personal choice of striking, unusual or typical buildings in five chapters ranging from International Style in Russia, to Russian Roots, Regional Russia, Post-Soviet Modernism and Russian Nostalgia. Two introductory essays discuss Russian architecture since 1995 in the international context.
